Indian craft - Beadwork

Our first collection is dedicated to the beadwork craft form practiced by artisans in the villages across Gujarat as well as cities like Agra, Bareilly, Muradabad and Lucknow. 

Gujarati (dal-moti) beadwork is a languishing craft form that has been cherished for generations. Using Czech glass beads, skilled artisans from the villages of Saurashtra regions handcraft intricate Torans—decorative door hangings that symbolize prosperity and welcome. Each piece is a labor of love, reflecting the precision and creativity passed down through generations.

Each piece is painstakingly handcrafted with the highest quality plant based leathers and/or organic/recycled fabrics to bring you a fresh take on the craft. As we celebrate these handmade treasures, we honor the artisans keeping this delicate tradition alive.
