About Us

Welcome to Pusaaka
At Pusaaka Ventures, we are deeply committed to preserving the beauty of traditional crafts while championing the future of sustainable design. The name "Pusaaka," derived from the Sanskrit word for "heirloom," reflects our mission to create timeless, handcrafted products that embody India's rich heritage and cultural craftsmanship. Our focus is not just on creating beautiful items, but also on ensuring that the traditional knowledge behind these crafts is preserved and passed on to future generations.
Our Vision: To ensure Indian crafts not only survive but also thrive!
Pusaaka exists to protect and celebrate India's diverse artisanal traditions, particularly those at risk of disappearing. We work directly with artisans to revive and reinterpret languishing crafts, bringing them into the spotlight through fashion-forward home and accessory products. Beyond creating physical products, we are deeply invested in safeguarding the cultural wisdom behind these crafts. To achieve this, we digitize traditional techniques and create e-courses that allow people all over the world to learn, appreciate, and practice these time-honored skills.
By offering e-courses, we ensure that the knowledge and mastery of these artisanal techniques do not fade with time. Our goal is to make sure that these crafts remain vibrant and relevant, with their techniques accessible to anyone who wishes to learn. This is how we ensure that craft traditions not only survive but thrive in a modern world.

Crafted with Purpose: Sustainable, Ethical Design
At the heart of Pusaaka is our commitment to sustainability. We believe that truly impactful design respects both the planet and the people who craft the products. All of our items are made using biodegradable, recycled, or cruelty-free materials, carefully selected to reduce environmental impact. We focus on integrating time-honored craftsmanship with ethical production processes to create high-quality heirlooms meant to be cherished and passed down. Whether it’s limited-edition pieces or wider-reaching open collections, every product we create is a testament to the artisans’ skills and a pledge to a greener future.
